Its key feature also includes an initiative to ensure efficient transfer of knowledge from research to clinical practice.
The vision of IDRF encompasses to achieve excellence in oral health by promoting education, research and patient care in society with joint efforts of dental as well as allied health sciences.
The mission of the Indian Dental Research Foundation is committed to improve oral health through innovative research and timely transfer of research outcomes in order to enhance dental technology, dental practice and oral & dental public health
IDRF aims to improve the oral health of the public by investing in public health research that develops advanced scientific and technological solutions to current oral health problems. We shall direct our efforts keeping the following core values as our foundation:
IDA is inspired by an extraordinary individual, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the 11th President of India and a pioneer of research,education and development of scientific temper in the country. The importance he placed on integrating education, healthcare and research helped IDA envision an extraordinary centre to ignite the wings of fire of professionalism and scientific temper in tomorrow’s dental professionals.
Indian Dental Association (IDA) is the national voice for dentistry, aims “to promote the science and art of dentistry and the betterment of public oral health” through effective communication, guidance and thoughtful legislative efforts. We are dedicated to serving the interests of our members and promoting oral health.
