Welcome to IDRF
Indian Dental Association (IDA) has put forth a platform -- Indian Dental Research Foundation (IDRF) to provide a cornerstone for oral health professionals to reinforce the importance of biomedical and public health research studies and clinical trials. Its key feature also includes an initiative to ensure efficient transfer of knowledge from research to clinical practice.
Vision
The vision of IDRF encompasses to achieve excellence in oral health by promoting education, research and patient care in society with joint efforts of dental as well as allied health sciences.
Mission
The mission of the Indian Dental Research Foundation is committed to improve oral health through innovative research and timely transfer of research outcomes in order to enhance dental technology, dental practice and oral & dental public health

IDA is inspired by an extraordinary individual, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the 11th President of India and a pioneer of research,education and development of scientific temper in the country. The importance he placed on integrating education, healthcare and research helped IDA envision an extraordinary centre to ignite the wings of fire of professionalism and scientific temper in tomorrow’s dental professionals.
